PALS is seeking a full-time CAD Drafter to join their team. An Affiliate of Life-Science Innovations, PALS (Poultry And Livestock Supplies) is a retailer and service provider of equipment, feed, and medication distributed within the poultry and hog industry, located on the West side of Willmar, MN.
This full-time opportunity will create technical drawings of barns, alarm systems, and wiring diagrams to help meet customers’ needs.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating drawings of barns, alarm systems, and wiring diagrams.
- Communicates with PALS Sales Staff to gather information for accurate CAD drawings.
- Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software for drawing tasks.
- Communicate with sales staff via email, text, and telephone
- Maintain barn drawing logs
- Self-starter, able to manage own time and take on responsibilities and challenges.
- Develops constructive and cooperative relationships with individuals within and outside the company.
- Displays a good-natured and cooperative attitude.
- Supports and promotes the company's image to customers and stakeholders.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Requires concentration and conceptual thinking.
- Requires frequent speaking and listening.
- Follow corporate policies, comply with safety regulations, complete necessary training and may be held accountable to perform other duties as assigned.
- Customer Service orientation.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact with a variety of internal employees and external customers.
- Ability to learn computerized billing and inventory system
- General knowledge of hog and poultry confinement industries.
- Basic knowledge of ventilation, electrical, and feed systems
- Experience using computer-aided design software, such as AutoCAD LT 2014
- Familiarity with agricultural buildings and/or electrical schematics
- Possess or quickly learn basic knowledge of ventilation, electrical, and feed systems
- Ability to coordinate multiple demands simultaneously.
- Communication and interaction with all levels of employees and customers.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage your own time.
- Cooperative and professional.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Driven to learn equipment and the components.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Computer Drafting Degree or related field is beneficial
- Core Hours: Monday-Friday day shift; typically, 7:00am-4:00pm
- Potential need to meet customer needs beyond the normal workday.
- Full – Time position, potentially could be a part – time position.
